Like so much of therapy, relationship therapy looks very different for everybody. People come to relationship therapy for many different reasons. You might have a specific sexual issue to address, like mismatched kinks or sexual interests. You might be navigating significant changes, like one partner realizing they aren’t living their authentic gender identity. Or, you might simply feel like you aren’t communicating as well as you could and want to do intentional work to strengthen your bond or connection.
Whatever your reason for seeking relationship therapy, it can be challenging to let a stranger see your most intimate connections. I don’t have any prescriptive views of what ‘healthy’ relationships look like, but I do believe that our relationships are strongest when we are able to be honest and open with our partners and ourselves. I listen to your goals for your relationship and help you achieve them, doing my best to ensure that every partners needs are sufficiently met along the way.
